Did Someone Say Seafood?
You don’t have to live in the city to enjoy platefuls of fine cuisine. Butter-drowned lobster, seared tuna, fresh mussels, and perfectly seasoned salmon are all on the menu in Quincy. When you make Boston’s only true boardwalk community your home, some of the best restaurants are just steps from your front door at Meriel Marina Bay. After a day spent watching the sunrise, relaxing by the pool or sailing the harbor, why not settle down with some top-notch seafood. Here are some of our favorite spots:
Captain Fishbones at Marina Bay
Just steps from Meriel Marina Bay, Captain Fishbones is always serving up freshly shucked oyster and fire roasted salmon. Head over for a bowl of chowder on a rainy day or skip the main dish and have a coconut flan with a glass of red.
Port 305
Just a few doors further down and a two-minute walk from home at Meriel Marina Bay is Port 305. This casual restaurant is come-as-you-are, and perfect after a day of biking along the water or taking your boat out on the harbor. On the menu is pan seared cod, shrimp scampi, and mussels marinara.
Siros
A four-minute walk from home is Siros. You’ll be charmed by the nautical theme, and you’ll want to stick around for another creative cocktail because you don’t want to give up your breezy outdoor table. Aside from crispy calamari and pistachio-crusted salmon, the restaurant provides an impressive assortment of martinis.
The Waterclub
The fourth fabulous seafood restaurant near Meriel Marina Bay is The Waterclub. Enjoy views of the Boston skyline with a side of fresh shrimp cocktail perfect for an afternoon bite on the boardwalk.
Who says you have to live in the Seaport or the North End to enjoy water views and excellent food? Marina Bay offers some of the best waterfront views, coupled with the freshest catch of the day.
